The following information was supplied by J. Bill Hailey
Dad (Buford) said that he and a sister (Annie) were at home by
themselves when Mrs. M.C. Hailey died. Their parents were away for
medical treatment. Buford said he didn't know what to do but
somehow found out from family to bring her to Dublin for burial. Buford and his cousin, Cecil Hailey, borrowed a flat bed truck from the cotton gin and carried her body to Dublin where she was buried beside her husband R.L. Hailey at the Live Oak Cemetery. |
