Oscar W. Hailey, 78, of 2166 N. 17th, died Sunday morning in Hendrick Memorial Hospital following an apparent heart attack.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin with burial in (Old) Dublin Cemetery.

Born March 12, 1889, in Mississippi, he moved to Abilene a year and a half ago following the death of his wife.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Kelley of 1117 Westview; a son, M.Sgt. C.R. Hailey of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Berta Morgan of Oklahoma City, and 11 grandchildren.
