JOHN HAILYS DIVISION

State of No. Carolina, Anson County: Pursuant to an order of Court directed to the Sheriff of said County commanding him to summon the undersigned committee to divide and partition the Lands of John Haily, decd. amongst his next of kin or heirs and to report to next Court. In pursuance of sd. order we the undersigned Committee after being duly summoned and sworn have Laid off and divided said Lands in the following manner giving to each Legatee such Lot No. and valuation as is to them allotted.

Lot No. 1 allotted to Jonathan Haily. Beginning at a stake in the old river Road in Adcocks line 1 sweet gum & dogwood pts. and runs with the dower line So. 32 Et. 7 chns. 1.0 link to a stake then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. to a Hackberry on the River bank 3 willows pts. then up the River to the mouth of Downers branch then up the Various Courses of sd. branch 8 chns. 30 links to a stake by a pine then No. 40 Wst. 4 chns. and 20 links then with Adcocks line So. 64 1/2 Wst. 20 chns. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at seventy dollars.

Lot No. 2 allotted to Loranzo D. Haily. Beginning at a stake in the dower line the 2nd corner of No. 1 and runs with the Dower line So. 32 Est. 6 chns. 37 links to a stake then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. to a stake on the River bank one black Gum and poplar pts. then up the Various Courses of the River 6 chns. 37 links to a Hackberry the corner of No. 1 then with sd. line So. 65 Wst. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at forty seven dollars 25 cents.

Lot No. 3 allotted to Isham Haily. Beginning at a stake the 2nd corner of No. 2 and runs with the dower line So. 32 Est. 6 chns. 37 links to a stake then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. to a stake on the River Bank 1 Wild Locust and Gum pts. then up the Various Courses of the River 6 chns. 37 links to the corner of No. 2 then with said line So. 65 Wst. to the Beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at Seventeen dollars 50 cents.

Lot No. 4 allotted to Rebecca Clark. Beginning at a stake the 2nd corner of No. 3 and runs with the dower line So. 32 Est. 6 chns. 37 links to a stake by a sweet gum then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. to an ash on the River bank then up the Various Courses of sd. river to the Lower corner of No. 3 then So. 65 Wst. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at $166 25/100 which lot is to pay to No. 9 or to Permenter heirs $56.

Lot No. 5 allotted to Elizabeth Adcock. Beginning at a stake by a sweet gum the 2nd corner of No. 4 and runs with the dower line So. 32 Wst. 6 chns. 37 links to stake then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. to a burch on the river bank then up the river to the Lower Corner of No. 4 then with sd. line So. 65 Wst. 29 chns. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at $210 which pays to No. 3 three dollars 50 cents. Also to No. 8 Twenty two dollars 75 cents. Also to No. 2 $63. Also to No. 9 $10.50 cents.

Lot No. 6 allotted to John W. Haily. Beginning at a stake the 2nd corner of No. 5 and runs with the dower line So. 32 Est. 6 chns. 30 links to a stake then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. 50 links to a beach on the River bank then up the Various courses of the River to the Lower Corner of No. 5 then with sd. line So. 65 Wst. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued $192.50 cents which pays to No. 3 eighty two dollars 25 cents.

Lot No. 7 allotted to Josiah L. Haily. Beginning at a stake the 2nd corner of No. 6 and runs with the dower line So. 32 Est. 6 chns. 30 links to a stake then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. to a willow on the River bank then up the river 6 chns. 30 links to a Beach the Lower Corner of No. 6 then with sd. line So. 65 Wst. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at $157.50 cents which said Lot pays No. 1 $40.25 cents and No. 3 the sum of $7.

Lot No. 8 allotted to Charles Haily. Beginning at a stake the 2nd corner of NO. 7 and runs with the dower line So. 32 Est. 6 chns. 30 links to a stake then No. 65 Est. 29 chns. to a stake by a mulberry on the River bank then up the Various courses of the River 6 chns. 30 links to the Lower Corner of No. 7 then with sd. line So. 65 Wst. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at $87.50 cents.

Lot No. 9 allotted to the heirs of Mary Permenter. Beginning at a stake the 2nd corner of Lot No. 8 and runs with the dower line So. 32 Est. 6 chns. 30 links to a black jack in Permenters line the corner of the Dower then with Permenters line No. 65 Est. 39 chns. to Permenters corner on the River Bank then up said River 6 chns. 30 links to a stake by a Mulberry the Lower Corner of No. 8 then with said line So. 65 Wst. to the beginning containing 17 1/2 acres Valued at $43.75 cents.

All of which we report to the worshipfull Court afsd. given under our respective hands & seals this 30th day of October 1839.
